Kerala entrepreneurs launch social networking site

Poolwo.Com, a new social networking website envisaged to provide both entertainment and information for users, has been launched here.
The brainchild of six Keralite entrepreneurs, the new site offers a host of innovative features like 'news page' which provides updated news from 65 countries and 'article', a platform in which the users themselves can contribute an article based on their interest and preference.
The site also provides features such as links to access platforms for photos, videos, music, blogs,events, radio and polls, its Chief Technical Officer Gokuldas told a press meet here today.
"There is no dearth of websites providing entertainment and information, but poolwo.Com combines these and truely and infotainment website," he said.

It is a platform for people with varied interests and help them to connect with and befriend people with similar taste and passion, he added.
"The limitations of existing social networking websites inspired us to create poolwo.Com. An offering of features that are available in different websites under a single platform will be a new experience for users," its director board member Anjali Gokuldas said.
K M Premadasan, George Kakkanad, Tinju P Mohan and K S Nair are the other founders of the site.
