Director Shoojit Sircar says he would like to work with the Khans --Aamir, Shah Rukh and Salman -- if something interesting comes across as he feels hey are hungry to do content-driven films.
In his over a decade-old career, Shoojit has worked with some of the big names like megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, while he has gotten out the best from actors like Ayushmann Khurrana and Yami Gautam in "Vicky Donor", and John Abraham in "Madras Cafe".
"If something comes up with them (Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir) then we will work together. As of now there is nothing that I have with me for them. If we have a film we will go to them. They are hungry to do different kind of roles," Shoojit told PTI when asked if he would like to collaborate with the three Khans.
Notably, the Khan trio have been experimenting with their work with upcoming films like "Raaes", "Tubelight" and "Dangal".
According to the "Piku" helmer, the Khans haven't approached him with a film, nor has he.
"They are too big to ask me do a film for them. I am just a small director... I am my kind of director. When the wavelength matches we will collaborate with them."
Shoojit was, however, quick to add that his wavelenght does match with the Khans but when it comes to doing a film together, it depends on the story.
Meanwhile, he is looking forward to the release of his next home production "Pink" which stars Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and others.
Directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, the court-room drama is set to release on September 16.
