In a veiled reference to Robert Vadra's land deals in Gurgaon during previous Congress regime, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today said that top agencies are probing the matter and whosoever was involved in any irregularity would not be spared.
Replying to an question on Congress president Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Vadra, Khattar said, "I had never mentioned the name of any specific individual and have always said whosoever had committed any mistake or was involved in irregularities, will not not be spared."
He added that the cases are being investigated by State Vigilance Bureau, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) or are in the Court.
Replying to another question, Khattar said the power to grant change of land use (CLU) and other licenses which was earlier with the Chief Minister, has now been restored to to the Director of Town and Country Planning Department.
On being asked about the major achievements of his government in last two years, the Chief Minister said that the government has ensured transparency in governance and have brought a positive change in the system.
"This government is true to its word," he said.
He also informed that an all-party delegation will call on President Pranab Mukherjee on November 28 to urge him for the early implementation of Supreme Court's decision on Sutlej Yamana Link (SYL) canal.
Khattar was speaking at a press conference to share the details of International Gita Mahotsav which will be held in Kurukshetra from December 6 to 10.
The President will inaugurate the festival on December 6.
He said that the mega-event is likely to set a world record with the recitation of Gita shaloks by as many as 18,000 students at one go.
