Three young girls, who were allegedly molested by Yang Chengjie, of a kindergarten in Langfang in Hebei Province, were brought to Beijing for medical tests following appeals from the parents, state-run Global Times reported.
Wang Zhenyu, director with Beijing Impact Law Firm, posted on his Sina microblog that Yang is suspected of sexually assaulting, raping and hurting several girls.
"The man placed unidentified matter in their bodies and they are in great need of appropriate medical treatment", the blog post said.
The suspect was detained by police in Langfang in mid-July under suspicion of child molestation.
Langfang Public Security Bureau said that the suspect arrest was approved by the local court.
Several of the girls at the kindergarten had told their parents that Yang had touched them inappropriately, and according to Guangzhou-based Southern Metropolis Daily parents had reported their suspicions of Yang's actions to police as far back as July 4.
According to Chinese law, suspects convicted of molestation in a private place will receive a lighter sentence than if the crime is committed in public, said a professor with the College of Law at Renmin University of China.
