In a fresh turn of events, mother of AAP member Santosh Koli, who died in August 2013 following an accident, today demanded a CBI probe into her daughter's death and approached the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW).
Kalawati, mother of Koli, approached the DCW after her daughter's name cropped up in the complaint by a woman AAP volunteer against the party leader Kumar Vishwas in which she alleged that she was threatened by Vishwas that she would meet the same fate as that of Santosh Koli if she will fight.
A controversy surrounding Kumar Vishwas erupted after the woman party volunteer accused him of not rebutting "rumours" about an illicit liaison with her. The AAP volunteer then approached DCW seeking justice.
"I want a CBI enquiry into my daughter's death. I had gone to meet (Chief Minister) Arvind Kejriwal after her death, but he threw me out of the house. Since then, nobody from the party has come to see us," Kalawati alleged.
