Last rites of freedom fighter Ramchandra Rai performed

The mortal remains of freedom fighter Ramchandra Rai were today consigned to flames with state honour in Jhitwara district of Rajasthan.
Rai passed away yesterday at the age of 92. His son and IPS officer Gurucharan Rai lit the funeral pyre, a release said.
Rai was a resident of Kushanpura village of Chomu tehsil in Jaipur and had participated in India's freedom movement.
