LIC reduces stake in SBI by 2 pc over two yrs

Insurance behemoth LIC trimmed its stake in SBI by over 2 per cent between November 2014 and September 2016.
LIC earlier held 12.45 per cent (equivalent to 966,478,050 shares) stake in the country's largest lender, SBI said in a regulatory filing.
Shedding 2.015 per cent of the stake, LIC now holds 10.435 per cent stake in SBI, as per the filing.
The market sale of shares happened between November 5, 2014 and September 28, 2016.
SBI stock closed 1.44 per cent higher at Rs 250.70 on BSE today.
