Lifer for murdering wife
sentenced a 29-year-old man to undergo life imprisonment for killing his wife some two years ago.
The prosecution case was that Saravanan and his wife Sathyapriya (22) used to pick up quarrel quite often, as the husband suspected the fidelity of his wife.
During such a quarrel on October 10, 2014, Saravanan hacked his wife with a sickle, resulting in spot death of Sathyapriya.
Delivering the judgement, Judge M Christopher sentenced Saravanan to undergo life sentence and imposed a fine of Rs.5,000.
