The gang broke open the lock of the office in the Corporation Central Bus stand last night, damaged some records and took away the monitor attached to the computer.
The office is located next to a police outpost.
They then entered the Chinthamani supermarket, run by District Cooperative Wholesale Society, damaged some goods and took away some coins
Later they entered a Reverse Osmosis Plant selling shop, a Private finance firm and a Courier office and stole Rs 2.75 lakh, Rs 1.75 lakh and Rs 16,000 from these premises.
