Mahindra Racing ties up car rental firm Avis

Partnership to be unveiled at inaugural Long Beach ePrix on April 4, Avis branding to be displayed in team's garage and on cars raced by the late Ayrton Senna and Karun Chandhok

Mahindra Racing, the lone Indian team in fray in the newly-formed Formula E series, has entered into a long-term partnership with Avis Car Rental.

"This partnership will be officially unveiled at the inaugural Long Beach ePrix on 4th April 2015," said a media release.

Avis branding would be displayed in the team's garage and on the cars raced by the late Ayrton Senna and Karun Chandhok, the release added.

"We are proud and thrilled to be working so closely with Avis Car Rental. This is a fantastic partnership in which Avis can provide mobility solutions to the Mahindra Group and welook forward to working closely with them in the future," said Dilbagh Gill, the team principal.
