Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee today extended 'Bijoya' greetings to West Bengal CPI(M) secretary Biman Bose and Leader of Opposition Surya Kanti Misra.
CPI(M) party sources told PTI that the Chief Minister had sent greeting letters to both the leaders, which according to them was for the first time in her political career.
Banerjee came to power in West Bengal in May 2011 after toppling 34 years of Left Front rule in the state.
