Man absconding for over 2 years arrested

Police today arrested a man two years after he was declared an absconder by court in connection with a criminal case in Jammu district.
Shabir Ahmed alias Kashu of Khanpur belt of Nagrota was arrested by personnel of Jajjar Kotli police station, an officer said.
He was booked in 2007 under Section 188 (violation of government imposition of restriction) of the Ranbir Panel Code and was declared absconder by court in February 2013.
