A man was arrested today for allegedly killing a 13-year-old boy, who found the accused in a compromising position with his mother, police said.
Piryanshu's father Naresh Kumar had lodged a complaint seeking intervention to resolve the missing case of his son at Modinagar police station on June 29, SSP Vaibhav Krishna said.
Acting on a tip-off, the police arrested the accused, who was Naresh Kumar's tenant.
During interrogation, Subhash told the police that he was in an illicit relationship with the victim's mother and confessed to his crime, Krishna said.
The police have seized the weapon used in the crime, the SSP said, adding that the victim's body was recovered from a sugarcane field.
