SSP Swapnil Mamgai said, "The police nabbed the assailant from the residence of his brother in Sarita Vihar of Delhi after his location was detected by a surveillance team."
The accused has confessed to his crime, he said.
Shashi Devi (35) and her sons, Jai Kishan (16) and Neeraj (8), were found dead yesterday. But her six-year-old daughter, whom, she had with her second husband Babulal, was unharmed, the police had said.
During interrogation, Babulal said he had married Shashi seven years back. He claimed that his wife was a loose woman and also she used to beat him, which forced him to take the extreme state, Mamgai said.
