22-year-old Sonu died in the fire while two children - Anil (3) and Komal (10), received burn injuries and were rushed to Sanjay Gandhi hospital, said a senior police officer.
The fire was reported at around 7.35 in the morning and fire tenders were rushed to extinguish the fire at Gali no 7 of G Block near Ratan Vihar. The fire was suspected to have started from a cylinder filled with insecticides, the officer said.
It was alleged that a factory was running in the house in residential area. The insecticides were filled into small bottles for sale. Deceased Sonu reportedly worked at the factory.
