Man drowns in water-filled minefield

A man drowned today in a ditch of manganese minefield full of water in village Tirodi under Katangi sub-division in the state, police said.
The deceased Vivek was working as a labourer in the DP Ray Magnese minefield. When he went there today to answer nature's call he fell into the minefield and got drowned.
Police reached the site and recovered Vivek's body from the ditch.
A case has been registered in this and investigation is on.
