Man impersonating as scribe held

One person,allegedly impersonating as a mediaperson for a popular web portal was caught along with illegal pharmaceutical drugs (SP tablets) from Lilong market in Thoubal district today, said police.
Upon verification the alleged impersonator O Zeemat produced a fake ID which had him designated as a cameraman and an online editor for the web portal e-pao.Net, a police officer said.
An FIR was also registered at Lilong Police Station in connection with the case of possession of banned drugs.
