murdered by his in-laws at a village in Jehanabad district today when he visited them two years after the death of his wife, police said.
The incident occurred at Kohra village under Makhdumpur police station and the deceased has been identified as Kopal Chaudhary, a resident of Bajhar village under town police station in the district.
"Chaudhary went to Kohra village to meet his sister, who is married to a person there. As his wife also hailed from the village, his brother-in-law invited him to his house. He went there and was found dead later on," Makhdumpur Station House Officer (SHO) Ashutosh Kumar said.
The body has been sent for postmortem.
