A 25-year-old man was killed Wednesday and another injured after their motorcycles collided in Rajasthan's Jhalawar district, police said.
The deceased, identified as Mohan Singh Rajput, a resident of Jaswantpura village, while the other motorcyclist, who was seriously injuried was identified as Rahul Meghwal of Negadiya village, they said.
Both were rushed to a local hospital from where they were referred to the SRG hospital in Jhalawar, where Rajput was declared brought dead, police said, adding that Meghwal is undergoing treatment.
The body was handed over to the family after postmortem Wednesday afternoon, police said.
A case under Section 279 (negligent driving) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) was registerd against the injured man, they said.
