Man kills six-month-old daughter, surrenders before police

A man allegedly killed his six-month-old daughter after a fall out with his wife in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district today, and surrendered to the police.
Narahari Soy (30), a tribal, fell out with his wife suspecting infidelity and disowned the infant girl as his, police said.
Following a quarrel with his wife, Narahari allegedly strangled the infant to death in a fit of anger at their home at Kasia village, rushed to Raruan police station and confessed to his crime, the police said.
Later, his wife and the dead infant were brought to the police station and a case of murder registered, they added.
