Man run over by train in J-K

An unidentified man was run over by a goods train in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir, police officials said today.
The man, aged around 35 years, yesterday died on the spot after being run over by the train in Bilol area, a government railway police official said.
The body was shifted to the Government Medical College hospital in Jammu for identification and postmortem.
A case has been registered and an investigation underway, he said.
In a separate incident, a middle-aged person yesterday allegedly committed suicide after jumping in front of a running train in Bari Brahamana area of Samba district, he said.
In another incident, the body of an unidentified man was found inside a compartment of a train in Udhampur district, he said.
He said the deceased, seems to be about 60 years old. However, his identity could not be ascertained.
