Manager held for stealing watch

A manager of a high-end luxury watch store, located in a popular hotel here, was arrested for allegedly stealing a watch worth Rs 18 lakh, police said today.
A special team was on the lookout for Mustaq Ahmed following a complaint from Dheeraj Dhoshi, proprietor of the Rolex Boutique Store, and arrested him here yesterday.
Investigations revealed that Ahmed, who was working in the store for more than eight years, stole the watch and was trying to sell it, a police statement said.
Police seized the watch from his sister's house, it said, adding, Ahmed has been remanded in judicial custody.
