Presenting the full budget in the assembly, Manipur Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh said funds would be used new developmental work as well as for completing current projects.
Singh, who also holds the finance portfolio, said revenue receipts were estimated at Rs 8,990 crore.
The capital receipts including public account receipts were estimated at Rs 370.53 crore, he said, adding that total expenditure was estimated at Rs 9,397.78 crore.
Out of the total expenditure, Rs 4,907.83 crore was proposed under non-plan, Rs 3,667.41 crore under plan and Rs 822.54 crore under centrally-sponsored schemes and central plan schemes, he said.
This would help address the critical gaps in infrastructure, he said.
Out of Rs 450 crore under the SPA, Rs 102.30 crore would be used for upgrading roads and bridges in the hills and valley districts, Rs 15 crore for completion of the remaining work for conservation of the Loktake lake and Rs 60 crore for infrastructural development of the J N Institute of Medical Science.
Rs 40 crore would be used for flood control and anti-erosion schemes and Rs 60 crore for tribal areas inclusive infrastructure growth projects covering 27 development blocks in the hill areas.
