"Not a single inch of Manipur will be given to any other state," Shah told a huge public meeting here yesterday, virtually kick starting the party's campaign for the Assembly election in the state likely to be held early next year.
Shah told the gathering it was time the Congress government in the state was changed and exuded confidence that BJP would get two-thirds majority in the Assembly after the election.
Stating that Northeast will be the "engine of development", Shah asked Manipur Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh to elaborate on how his government utilised Rs 5,000 crore given by the Centre for the state's development.
