Manish Sharma elected as CEAMA President

Panasonic India Managing Director Manish Sharma has been elected as the new president of the Consumer Electronics and Appliances Manufacturers Association (CEAMA).
He would take charge from Videocon Director Anirudh Dhoot as CEAMA head, said a statement issued by the association.
Sharma, who has been elected for 2014-2015 has over 20 years experience of consumer electronics and appliances industry, it added.
Commenting on the development Manish Sharma said:" It is now time that we focus more on the ease of doing business and thereby attract more investment towards indigenous manufacturing".

Emami associates with Pro Kabaddi team Patna Pirates * FMCG firm Emami today announced association of brand 'Navratna' with Pro Kabaddi League team Patna.

Binatone launches multi-function mifi router for Rs 4,995 * Technology vendor Binatone has launched a portable mifi router that can create wifi network or hotspots using both 3G SIM and fixed broadband connection.
"3G Mi-Fi Router has an inbuilt power bank that provides power supply to mobile devices while creating a hotspot for multiple users," Binatone Country head SP Singh said in a statement.
About 3-inch square shaped router, priced at Rs 4,995, has in-built power bank of 5000 mAH that can charge tablet and mobile phones as well. Capacity of normal smartphone battery lie in range of 1800 mAh to 2200 mAh.
The Wifi hotspot created by the device can connect up to 10 users at a time, the statement said.

Smartlink Networking appoints Arati Naik as new COO * Telecom and IT network company Smartlink has appointment Arati Naik as the company's Chief Operating Officer.
Arati started her career at Smartlink as a project consultant in March 2008.
"Networking is our core strength as we are the first networking company in India. As a COO, I want to reinvent networking and build on this strength of ours where we come out as a much stronger, focused and innovative company," Naik said in a statement.
She has replaced Bimal Raj who served at the post from April 2012 to June 30,2014.
