AAP MP Bhagwant Mann today took a dig at Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, saying why was he worried about him and should instead work for the people for which he was elected.
"I was out of the political scene as I had to meet my relatives and friends and moreover why Badal is worried about me," Mann said here in a statement.
Yesterday, Badal, while taking a jibe at Mann said if need arises, the government will trace Lok Sabha MP as it is the duty of every government to trace the "missing person".
Badals's comments came after Mann remained absent from the political conference organised by AAP at Chhapaar Mela in Ludhiana.
If Badal was seriously worried about Punjab, he should locate those who were responsible for the sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib at Behbal Kalan; identify those "un-identified" cops who fired at the peaceful protestors and killed two youth; find out those who were involved in the sacrilege of Quran-e-Sharif in Malerkotla, Mann said.
"Badal should put his energy to locate those who were responsible for the food grain scam worth Rs 12,000 crore; find out jobs for unemployed youth," Mann said.
"Badal should find out the reasons due to which farmers were forced to take the extreme step of committing suicide," he said.
