Maoists release all 11 abducted

All 11 persons who were abducted by Maoists from Mahupadar village in Odisha's Malkangiri district were released today, the police said.
All of them were safe, Inspector In-Charge of Mathili police station P K Mallick said today.
The villagers were on their way back and expected to reach their village shortly, he said.
Earlier, the police had put the number of the kidnapped at nine.
A group of around 50 armed Maoists raided the remote village on Wednesday night and kidnapped eight persons from their houses.
The ultras again went to the village last night and took away three persons, the police said.
