Marathon to commemorate Manekshaw's centennial birth

To commemorate the centennial birth anniversary of late Field Marshal SHFJ Manekshaw, Madras Regiment Centre (MRC) in Wellington is conducting +Field Marshal Open Marathon+ on April three here.
The 14-KM run from Charing Cross here to Madras Regiment Centre, is open for men of all age of Nilgiris and Coimbatore districts, including School students, Brig S Suresh Kumar, Commandant, MRC, told reporters today.
The registration will be open from March 16 to March 30 and a prize money of rs.One lakh will be distributed among the winners, Sureshkumar said.
