Marriage assistance distributed

Tamil Nadu Revenue Minister R B Udhayakumar and Special Schemes implementation project Minister K T Rajendra Balaji today distributed marriage assistance to the tune of Rs 4.29 crore to 897 beneficiaries under "Thalikku Thangam" (Gold for mangalya sutra) scheme here.
Udhyakumar said Tamil Nadu stood first in the distribution of welfare schemes for the people.
There were fourteen welfare schemes being implemented in the state and every household was benefitted under one scheme or the other,he said.
Balaji said the Government's schemes like free cattle schemes aimed at economically developing poor people.
