An MDMK release said party cadres raised slogans at the news channel's office at Egmore.
Meanwhile, Madras Reporters Guild and Chennai Press Club issued statements condemning political leaders, including Vaiko, who have protested against the telecast of Rajapaksa's interview scheduled tonight.
