Meerut Division Inspector General Alok Sharma, after holding a meeting with G B Nagar senior police officers, directed them to take measures to check the rising crime rate in the district, police said.
The review meeting was held at police control room here, they said, adding Sharma directed the police officers to make regular contacts with RWAs and village pradhans and resolve the local issues before it flare up into major crime.
