Meet on information technology and robotics

Maker Village, the electronics incubator in Kerala, in association with Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and Women In Engineering (WIE) Congress - Kochi Hub will jointly host 'SHE 2017' here from tomorrow.
The three-day event to be held at Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT), Angamaly, would throw light on state-of-the-art technologies including IoT and robotics, organisers said today.
"Maker Village is extending support to SHE-2017 as part of its vision to develop a meaningful community for women in technology and positively change the landscape of Indian economy," Prasad Balakrishnan, CEO, Maker Village, said in a release.

Technology industry experts from across the country would deliberate the paramount role of technology in giving a fillip to women power in start-up ecosystem, the release added.
