The forest department officials said a team entered the Komarayanure and Sennampatty forest areas on a tip off that the poachers were moving around there in suspicious circumstances and spotted them.
The poachers tried in vain to hide behind some bushes and were nabbed.
On being questioned, the poachers admitted that they had entered the forest for hunting.
