"The landmark achieved after the start of the drive on November 17, is a big achievement and is the result of hard efforts put in by the party workers across the state," a statement quoting Sharma said here.
In this drive, the party has got "stupendous response in rural areas" across the state and especially in young section of the society that is seeing a new hope in the party after Narendra Modi became the prime minister.
Sharma also claimed that following direction of the high command, the workers at the grass root level are meeting each and every section of the society.
The state party chief said the party's different wings are ready to take next edition of the drive in which the party would achieve the target of making total 21 lakh new members before March 31.
