Menthol prices recovered by Rs 10 per kg at the chemical market today due to increased offtake by stockists following firm demand from consuming industries.

Traders said, increased offtake by stockists, supported by pick-up in demand from consuming industries against restricted arrivals from producing belts, mainly pushed up menthol prices.

In the national capital, menthol bold crystal, flake and oil were up by Rs 10 each to Rs 1,740, Rs 1,600 and Rs 1,430 per kg, respectively.
