Mercury continues to soar in Raj; Jodhpur, Jaisalmer hottest

With Mercury continuing to rise in Rajasthan, several places in the state today recorded day temperature of above 40 degree Celsius.
Jaisalmer and Jodhpur were the hottest, recording maximum temperature of 43 degree Celsius, according to MeT department here.
Barmer recorded 42.6 degrees Celsius while Churu, Bikaner and Kota recorded a maximum of 42 degree Celsius, they said.
The weather conditions would remain the same during next 24 hours with possibility of heatwave conditions in isolated areas.
