Mercury falls following brief spell of rain

Delhiites today woke up to a sunny morning after overnight rains with the minimum temperature recorded at 24 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year.
The minimum temperature was around three notches less as against yesterday's 27 degrees Celsius. The city recorded 3.7 mm of rain in the last 12 hours, the Met office said.
Humidity was 67 per cent at 8.30 AM.
The weatherman has forecast partly cloudy sky with the likelihood of haze towards the evening. There is no possibility of rainfall.
"Maximum temperature is likely to be around 36 degrees Celsius," the MeT official said.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 38.7 degrees Celsius while the minimum settled at 27 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
