The mercury took a welcome dip on the back of mild thundershowers in Delhi even as the MeT office suggested that residents in the national capital would continue to experience pleasant weather as more rain is expected in the city.
Moderate rain saw temperatures dropping significantly in Delhi with the maximum recorded at 30.6 degrees Celsius, or nine notches below normal. The minimum had come seven notches down from the normal to 18 degrees Celsius on a partially cloudy day in the city.
Humidity in air fluctuated between 94 and 52 per cent.
According to the weatherman, the city received 9.5-mm rain between 8:30 A.M. Yesterday and 8:30 this morning.
The forecast is for partially cloudy skies with one or two spells of light rain or thundershowers likely in some areas.
The maximum tomorrow is expected to be at around 32 degrees while the minimum is tipped to hover at 21 degrees, the MeT added.
