Teller, 28, who was working out for his role as boxer Vinny Pazienza was not drinking and that bothered his lady love, reported Us magazine.
"He was ripped and shriveled, but he was also boring. He wouldn't drink," Sperry said.
The actor was so much strict about the diet, that it triggered a fight between them.
"One time, I came home and I was in the middle of my training... And there's French fries - she had just ordered this burger or something. And I got so pissed off! I was like, 'Baby, you cannot be eating this crap in front of me! It's torture!'"Teller said.
