The incident took place when the minor, after working in her field, tried fetch take water from the ashram of Baba Puran Singh in Gangura village in Ginnaur area who attacked her with his trident, they said.
The girl was injured in the incident.
Later, her father Charan Singh Jatav lodged an FIR with the police.
"An FIR has been lodged against the accused under SC/ST atrocities prevention Act and other sections of IPC. The accused has been arrested," police said.
