The deceased,(14), a 9th standard student had failed in two subjects following which she committed suicide by hanging herself to the ceiling fan today after noon at her house in Shyam Park Extension colony in Sahibabad, SHO Sahibabad Upendra Yadav.
Her father Nand Lal had gone to factory and mother was not home when the girl took the extreme step, he said.
In a similar incident a 50-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide in Aamrpali Society in Indirapuram here after a fight with her husband Aamrpali Society in Indirapuram.
No suicide notes were recovered from the spot the spots, police said.
