Minor girl abducted, gang-raped in UP

The 14-year-old victim was kidnapped by the youths from her residence in the absence of her parents, who had gone outside for some work, they said.

Later, the accused brought the girl to panchayat office, where she was raped by them.

A case has been registered in this connection while the further probes are on, police added.

In another incident, a 25-year-old woman was allegedly raped at her residence by a person in Titawi area in the district.

The victim was alone at her house yesterday when the accused, identified as Papan raped her and immediately fled from the spot, they said.

A hunt has been launched to nab the accused while further investigations are on into the incident, they added.
