The girl was kidnapped from Daata village in the district yesterday and her father after receiving a ransom call contacted police this morning, they said.
The call details are being traced and efforts underway to arrest the kidnapper at the earliest, police said.
According to police, the father came to know about the abduction only after receiving a ransom call from the kidnapper.
