Minor girl raped, blackmailed for over 2 yrs by friend

A 17-year old girl was allegedly raped by a man for over two years and a video of the act was also made to blackmail her.
The accused Sohan Lal Bishnoi of Kankani village befriended the victim, a student of Industrial Training Institute, and took her to Jodhpur, where he raped her and recorded the act on a camera, ACP Nazim Ali said.
"Bishnoi then started blackmailing the girl and continued to rape her at different locations in and outside Jodhpur city for over two years," said Ali.
A month back, when the girl became pregnant, she asked Bishnoi to marry her. He refused and pressurised her to get an abortion.

Bishnoi's two brothers - Hanuman and Pappu - and a friend Kishan Rao, also coerced her for pregnancy termination and threatened her of dire consequences if she did not agree to do so.
The victim filed a complaint with the police Sunday in this regard.
Police have arrested Bishnoi after registering a case under section 376 (rape) of IPC and POCSO Act against the accused. A manhunt to nab other absconding accused has been launched, said Ali.
