A 17-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her stepfather in outer Delhi's Aman Vihar area, police said today.
The accused has been arrested by the police under relevant sections of IPC and POCSO Acts, said a police official.
In her complaint, the girl told the police that her stepfather allegedly molested her over a period of time. Recently, he allegedly raped her and when she resisted, he stabbed her with a knife.
After the incident, the girl left home and started staying with her cousin. She narrated her ordeal to her mother yesterday and the incident was reported to the police, said the official.
The girl was later sent for counselling by an NGO, the official added.
