An FIR was lodged after Union minister Ram Shanker Katheria and former minister Ramveer Upadhyay met the family members of the kidnapped children yesterday and directed the SSP to lodge a case of kidnapping, BJP leader Pratyendra Pal Singh Pappu said.
Tanu, 14, and Himanshu, 8, went to take 'prasad' on the last day of 'Bhagwat Katha' to the temple on Friday and did not return home since then. Their family members have alleged that the children have been kidnapped by Rakesh, Rinku and Tinkoo who want to take their property.
Two police teams have been formed yesterday to nab the accused, Circle Officer Mahesh Chandra said, adding, they would be nabbed soon.
