Mobile app keeping tab on school children launched

To ensure security and over all monitoring of children, a user-friendly app has been launched which acts as an interface among school, teachers and parents.
"Eduvity is an user-friendly app that is controlled by the respective school management and supported by our client-friendly team 24/7," Managing Director (MD) Eduvity Technologies Pvt Ltd, Vithal Chowdhary said today.
The app is a blend of four different apps and one web console which is customised according to the timings and working of each school.
Eduvity was launched across the country this month, he said.
"Eduvity has a multilateral approach. It becomes part of the daily life right from the morning alarm till the time a child is dropped at the bus stop. Schools can send bus arrival message, pick-up alerts, important information, fee reminders, dropping alerts directly to the parents.

"Teachers can mark attendance, broadcast assignment details, send activity pictures and videos directly to the parents," Chowdhary said.

"Bridging the communication gap, parents and teachers can now interact according to their convenience," he said.
He said the app was developed over 2 years after intense analysis of requirements of more than 4000 parents by experts.
"For the privacy of schools and students, all the controlling rights of the app will be administrated by the school management. The team provides for a highly trained and fully equipped full-time technician at every school, robust data servers, daily back-up, etc," he said.
All the day-to-day management tasks are absolutely paperless, he said.
