Light to moderate rainfall occurred at a few places in south-east and north-west parts, while heavy rainfall was reported from one or two places in north-east and north-central Bihar, it said.
The Met department said in its forecast that Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea would witness a generally cloudy sky with light rainfall in the next 24 hours.
Purnea registered the highest rainfall of 10.7 mm since yesterday, while Patna and Gaya recorded 2.9 and 1.6 mm of rainfall, respectively, the Met office said.
Patna recorded a maximum temperature of 34.4 degrees Celsius, while Gaya and Bhagalpur recorded maximum temperatures of 34.2 and 33 degrees Celsius, respectively.
