"...I convey my best wishes to him (Naidu) and his team in developing the state," Modi said.
In a series of tweets, he said, "The Centre is committed to extending all possible help to the people and government of Andhra Pradesh."
Expressing confidence in Naidu, whose party TDP is a part of the BJP-led NDA, the Prime Minister said, "Chandrababu Garu's administrative experience and commitment to development will be a great asset in taking Andhra Pradesh to newer heights."
He has earlier been the Chief Minister of the undivided Andhra Pradesh.
