More than 2.5 lakh revenue cases disposed in 13 days: Raj Min

More than 2.5 lakh revenue cases have been disposed in 13 days in Rajasthan in a special ongoing campaign, 'Nyay Apke Dwar', to clear pendency of cases in revenue courts, state government today said.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Rajendra Rathore said that the progress of Revenue 'Lok Adalat' camps which began on May 18 was satisfactory and was reviewed in the cabinet meeting today.
"In 13 days of the campaign, 1,644 camps were organised and 2.56 lakh cases were disposed. Of them, 41,000 cases were of sub-division level and 2.15 lakh were of Tehsil level," he said.
The camp which started on May 18 will continue till July 15.

Rathore said that decisions to conduct third grade teachers recruitment through a separate agency, which will be be decided by the government, instead of Zila Parishad and to bring an ordinance to amend two sections of Rajasthan Panchayti Raj Act, 1994 were also taken in the meeting which was chaired by Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje.
